That makes the right approach straightforward: treat Brilliant as a provider to verify through current plan documents, not through old summaries. If Brilliant appears in a quote or provider list, ask for the current EFL and Terms of Service before comparing it with other offers.

Brilliant may be worth considering if it presents a current, clear EFL for your ZIP code and the all-in price fits your usage pattern. It may also fit a customer who prefers a smaller Texas provider over a national brand.

If current documents are hard to obtain, compare active providers that publish plan terms more clearly. In Texas electricity, a provider record is only the beginning of the decision. The current offer does the real work.
