Quext now needs to be matched to Abundance Energy

The Quext provider record is not a simple one-name shopping page. The public electricity identity tied to the record now appears as Abundance Energy, with Quext Energy, LLC connected to the Texas REP certificate.

That matters because a customer may see Quext on a directory, Abundance on a document, and a different URL in an old database. The safe approach is to match the legal provider name, DBA, PUCT number, and EFL before enrolling.

The old Quext domain is not a useful plan source

The stored quextenergy.com URL returned a 404 during this refresh. A broken provider website is not a reliable place to send shoppers, so the public website field was updated to the Abundance Energy site.

If you find an old Quext link elsewhere, do not use it as proof that a current plan is available. Use current Abundance Energy plan documents or direct customer-care information instead.

This record may show up in apartment or managed-property contexts

Quext is known more broadly as a property-technology company, so users may encounter the name through apartment or managed-property service rather than a normal retail shopping flow.

If the electricity offer is tied to a property move-in, ask whether the plan is optional, how it compares with other providers, and which retail electric provider is responsible for billing and customer rights.

How to compare an Abundance Energy offer

Start with the EFL. Check the energy charge, base charge, average price at multiple usage levels, term length, early termination fee, renewable content, and any minimum-usage language.

Then compare the legal name and certificate number against the customer-rights document. If Quext and Abundance appear in different places, the documents should still connect cleanly.

Who should be cautious

Customers who are being routed through a move-in flow should be especially careful. A convenient enrollment path is not the same thing as the cheapest or most flexible plan.
