About TDSP delivery fees
A TDSP, also called a TDU, is the local utility responsible for the poles, wires, meters, and outage response that deliver electricity to your address. These utilities do not sell electricity plans; they publish regulated delivery charges that are reviewed and approved through the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and retail electric providers pass those charges through on your bill. Delivery fees usually include a fixed monthly charge and a usage-based per-kWh charge, and they commonly change when approved utility tariff updates take effect, often around the March and September delivery-rate update cycles.
