Value Power - You have the Power To Choose Your Energy Company

The deregulation of Texas’ energy market in 2002 has given power to millions of consumers in the state, enabling them to select their own energy provider. However, despite the various advantages of deregulation, many Texans remain uninformed about the benefits, such as lower energy prices and better customer service.

By giving consumers the option to choose their own electricity provider, instead of being restricted to the utility company in their area, the deregulated market in Texas empowers consumers to save money on their monthly energy bills.

In a deregulated market, the competition among electricity providers is fierce, as they vie for customers by offering different rates and plans. This competition, in turn, encourages providers to offer lower prices, better customer service, and more innovative products and services. As a result, consumers have the freedom to shop around and compare rates from various providers to find the best deal that suits their needs.

Moreover, energy deregulation gives consumers greater control over their energy consumption by allowing them to switch providers or switch plans if they find a better deal elsewhere. This feature gives them the flexibility to make informed decisions and take charge of their energy consumption and costs.

However, with more than 60 energy companies and hundreds of plans to choose from in Texas alone, finding the most suitable plan can be a daunting task. But that’s where SlashPlan comes in – a solution that makes it easy for Texans to compare the best energy plans available in the market.

SlashPlan provides live rates from various energy companies and displays them all in one dashboard, making it effortless for consumers to identify the cheapest plan in seconds. Not only that, but SlashPlan also calculates the final price for each plan, including all the hidden fees that energy companies tend to hide. As a result, consumers get a real apples-to-apples comparison of all the energy plans, which enables them to confidently shop for the best energy rate that fits their needs and budget.

Value Power Residential Electricity Plans

You should have the ability to manage your electricity service and rates, and Value Power is available to support you with that. The company provides various energy plans for you to choose from, depending on your needs and preferences.

One of the energy plans offered by Value Power is the Fixed Rate Plan. Under this plan, you pay a fixed rate for the energy portion of your bill, which is quoted in cents per kilowatt-hour. This rate includes pass-through expenses from the Transmission and Distribution Utility (TDU). This plan provides price stability and predictability, allowing you to budget your energy costs accurately.

Another plan offered by Value Power is the Green Plan. By choosing this plan, you support the environment by purchasing Renewable Energy Credits (RECs). The company uses these credits to match your electricity usage with power generated from renewable sources like wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, and biomass. This plan is an excellent option for people who want to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to a greener future.

Nevertheless, as with many other Retail Electric Providers (REPs), Value Power does not make its business energy plans publicly available for online viewing.
