About Breeze Energy
Breeze Energy was founded in 2012 as a Texas-based retail electric provider.
The company promises to deliver 100% pure, clean Texas wind energy to homes and businesses at rates comparable to those of traditional energy providers. They position themselves as a company that is fully committed to green energy, and not just offering a green plan or two.
They claim not to use coal or nuclear energy and source 100% of their energy from Texas wind farms, unlike other leading green providers whose parent companies generate over 80% of their electricity from non-renewable and polluting sources such as coal, gas, and nuclear plants.

Breeze Energy - You have the Power To Choose Your Energy Company
Electricity deregulation in Texas, which began in 2002 with the passing of Senate Bill 7, allows for consumers to choose their electricity provider rather than being limited to a single provider.
The main objective of this legislation was to increase competition in the energy market and give consumers more options and control over their electricity service, leading to lower prices and better services. While this process has led to more competition and a wider variety of plans and services, it has also created some challenges, such as lack of oversight and market manipulation.
This is where companies like SlashPlan come in to assist consumers in navigating through the options. SlashPlan offers a service that helps consumers compare plans from different providers and identify the cheapest options.
This can save consumers time and money and ensure they are getting the best deal. With over 60 Texas energy providers and 100’s of plans, choosing the right plan can be difficult, but with SlashPlan, you get a real apples-to-apples comparison and be confident that you’re getting the cheapest plan in the market, including all the hidden fees that the energy companies are trying hard to hide.
It’s important to note that some cities like San Antonio and Austin, Texas remain regulated and have some restrictions on the deregulation process.
